Born in Schwaebisch Hall, Germany. Lives and works in Berlin.
Since 2009 Art director of the festival for contemporary music Klangwerkstatt Berlin - Festival fuer Neue Musik.
1997 – 2002 Founding member of the interdisciplinary artist group WEISS Kunstbewegung. Manager and art director of various transmedia group projects (series of concerts, theatre, exhibitions).
1990 – 1994 Composition studies with Helmut Lachenman at the Stuttgart Conservatory, Composition seminar with Boguslaw Schaeffer, Isang Yun and with Gottfried Michael Koenig.
1982–1990 Studied at Staedtische Akademie fuer Tonkunst Darmstadt (Guitar with Wilfried Senger, Composition with Toni Voelker. Guitar teacher both at the music school in Crailsheim, Germany, and private.
Numerous performances and radio broadcasts at home and abroad, cross-media projects, theater work, performances.
