Jesse Ronneau is a composer and improviser. His music has been performed in Africa, Australia, Asia, throughout the EU, the UK, the US, and Ireland. His works feature explorative instrumental techniques, interactions between live instruments and electronics and extreme concentration on timbre. They have been performed by many of the leading interpreters of new music including Ensemble Sur Plus, the h2 Quartet, ensemble cross.art, The Quiet Music Ensemble, Carin Levine, Pascal Gallois, Ian Pace, Jack Adler-McKean, Céline Papion, Ingólfur Vilhjálmsson et al.
Originally from Chicago, he moved to Ireland in 2006, where he lectured at University College Cork. Since 2013, he has lived in Germany.
